Catsycam is a majestic peak to the North-East of Helvellyn. It stands at 889 m (2917 ft) and is easily scaled once you've done the hard work of climbing Helvellyn itself.
The best approach is from the summit of Helvellyn to come down Swirral edge and then rather than continue down to Red Tarn to simply carry on up to the top of Catsycam. Well worth the extra effort as the views from the top are spectacular.
