A small 17th century manor house is home to one of the most beautiful decorative art collections in Aquitaine. Flemish art, Napoleonic souvenirs, (a first-floor bedroom is where Napoleon slept with Maubert-Fontaine on 19th June 1815), and Philippe Le Bon, the Duke of Burgundy's priceless "Livre d'Heures". Aubusson tapestries, paintings of Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun, Breughel, Rubens, Fragonard, and also porcelain, earthenware and furniture.
Set in a 60 hectare park, with hundred year old trees, and a games and discovery area. French gardens with water feature and flower beds end in a terrace from which the view drops into a green sward with the Gave d'Oloron which running at its foot, and in the background, the Pyrenees.
