Coruisk House has welcomed lovers of the mountains for over a hundred years. It is situated in the tiny fishing village of Elgol on the west coast of Skye; the majestic Cuillin Mountains are a dramatic backdrop to the village, rising straight from the shore for over 3,000 feet to form the mighty Cuillin Ridge. Loch Coruisk can be reached from the house by walking along the shores of Loch Scavaig past Camasunary - voted the "Best walk in Great Britain 1997" - Country Walker Magazine.
The Elgol fishermen supply the restaurant daily.
The wildlife in the immediate area includes deer, otters, seals, buzzards, eagles, heron, to name but a few. The seascapes of the Islands of Eigg, Rum, Canna and Soay are breathtaking and can be seen from the house. The Isle of Skye itself has many places of interest to visit - from crofts to castles.
Please note: A high tech Midge Master in place. The Midge Master attracts and contains midges, clearing an area of around 1 acre, so you can enjoy a drink or food outside without the worry and frustration of being eaten by midges!

B&B Accommodation available. All bedrooms are en-suite or have their own bathrooms, and have tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers, etc. There is a large conservatory for breakfast and a cosy dining room.
