Duff House is jointly run by Historic Scotland, the National Galleries and Aberdeenshire council. They offer a unique artistic programme, comprising of art exhibitions, musical performances and lectures. The building was built between 1735 and 1740, and more recently saw an extensive restoration in 1995. Since this time, Duff House has been open as a country house gallery. The house has extensive grounds and woodland.
