Dunstanburgh Castle is a massive ruined castle in a spectacular position on the Northumbiran coast. It dominates this lovely stretch of Northumberland's coastline, and was once one of the largest and grandest fortifications in northern England. It offers fine clifftop panoramas and is well worth a visit.
