Cistercian abbey, Georgian water garden and medieval deer park. A World Heritage Site with monumental ruins of a 12th-century Cistercian Abbey. There is an elegant ornamental Georgian water garden and medieval deer park. Also St Mary's Church, a William Burges masterpiece with fabulous stained glass. There are atmospheric floodlit tours of the Abbey on summer nights. Children's play area and Abbey audio tour also avaialable. The National Trust works in partnership with English Heritage to care for this site. EH maintains the Abbey (owned by the NT) and owns St Mary's Church (managed by the NT)
