The Grand Prix Automobile de Pau is an exceptional event.
The racetrack has been the only one car racing circuit unchanged since 1933 and covers about 1715 miles. The first race was in 1901 and was the first ever to be called a Grand Prix.
The circuit is laid out on the streets of Pau and is in many ways similar to the more famous Formula One Monaco Grand Prix. From 1999 it has been a Formula Three event.
The Historic Car Grand Prix draws admirers of classic racing cars from all over France and abroad, many of whom arrive in their own classic/vintage cars.
