Le Petit Train d’Artouste is the highest in Europe and offers you the possibility of access to the marvels of nature and the secrets of the mountains. Sometimes you'll find a shepherd making the trip up to his flocks.
It is one of the most beautiful trips of the region. This little train at 2000m altitude, allows you to discover the azure blue Lake of Artouste, to explore the underground galleries created to collect the hydro power of the mountains, in the company of a guide. It was to bring workers for the creation of this facility that the railway was built.
