Loch of Kinnordy is a shallow loch that is surrounded by farmland and is habitat to a wide variety of wildlife. Some of the animals that are attracted to the loch include ospreys, wildfowl, gulls, wading birds, otters, red squirrels and different species of butterfly. The reserve has hideouts overlooking the loch so that the public can have perfect view of the wildlife in their natural habitat. There are also footpaths through the woodland where there are more animals to discover.
