The museum is located in an old Anglican church and tells the story of Biarritz, from its origins as a little fishing port of to a cosmopolitan seaside resort.
In the porch is a memorial to the British officers who fell in the Napoleonic wars about 1814.
Inside are different exhibits relating to the second empire and Napoleon and Josephine who had the Villa Eugénie constructed, making Biarritz a fashionable destination.
There are also other souvenirs of Biarritz dating after that time.
