Scone Palace was once known to be the centre of the Celtic church. Today, it is the home of the Earls of Mansfield and there is a great deal of history to be discovered in between. For example, it has been the crowning place of kings and been used to seat parliaments. There are beautiful grounds to accompany the stunning castle, with the Grampian Mountains as its backdrop.
