The Treasurer's House in York is an elegant town house dating from medieval times. It is a fine 17th and 18th-century house in the heart of historic York Minster. The ghosts of a Roman legion reputedly march through the cellars, and there are four centuries of styles on display in this elegant interior. You can see a model ship made out of bones.
Also home to one of York's best-loved tea-rooms.
