Windermere is the largest lake in England, 10.5 miles long and 200 ft deep in places. We are one of the largest visitor attractions in the Lake District, and we carry over 1 million passengers carried each year!

Steamers and launches sail daily throughout the year between Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside. Seasonal connections for Brockhole, the Steam Railway, Fell Foot and Ferry House. Evening Cruises and Jazz/Buffet Cruises operate during the summer. Island cruises sail daily from Bowness. Santa Specials, Christmas Lunch Cruises.
