The fernery and gardens are open from Easter to end-October, from 10am to 5pm. They are CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays. The House is not open to the public.
In 1997 the Victorian fernery was rescued and restored, along with the old gardens of 3 acres. The beautiful banks and bed are well worth a visit, with contrasting areas offering colourful surprises. A pond is currently being restored.
