Auchentoshan is the distillery closest to Glasgow. It lies at the foot of the Old Kirkpatrick Hills, overlooking the River Clyde. Auchentoshan, means "corner of the field" in gaelic and produces a delicate smooth and light single malt whisky. It is triple distilled for an extrmely refinedc character whisky.
The guided tours include a dram and there is a distillery gift shop as well as free car parking and toilets.
