A romantic medieval moated manor house on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire borders. There is a 14th-century great hall with an immense, locally-timbered roof, as well as a lovely crooked gatehouse and ruined Norman chapel. There are miles of park and woodland to explore, with a rich variety of wildlife, from dormice to buzzards. Also see the wooden sculptures on woodland walks
