Open daily except Mondays. House closed November to end March

Cragside House was a wonder of its age - built on a rocky crag the house is crammed with gadgets and was the first house to be lit by hydro electricity.

The Gardens are breath taking whatever the season. Surrounding the house is one of the largest handmade rock gardens in Europe
