Eastbury Manor House, Barking Historic Buildings and Monuments

Elizabethan merchant's house and gardens. Tradition says the Gunpowder Plot was first contrived here. There are Notable 17th-century wall paintings on the first floor. There is a new café and shop. It is managed by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham
