A realistic medieval market continues for the weekend of the fete, with stall holders selling food and drink appropriate to the age, hand made shoes, chainmail, embroidered tunics - everything one would imagine would have been available in the 14th or 15th century. The residents of Dinan don historically accurate clothing - everything from nobles in richly coloured velvet robes to beggars in rags. Join the party atmosphere and hire an outfit. There are displays of jousting, a costume ball, communal dinners, craft exhibitions, jesters, troubadours, minstrals ... It has to be seen to be believed. Dinan is about 30 minutes drive from Plessala and Plemet and there is plenty car parking provision on the outskirts of the medieval city - which is a lovely place to visit at any time of year, but especially atmospheric during the Fetes des Ramparts.
