Hurst Castle is an extremely interesting place to visit, it is full of history dating back to when it was built by Henry viii in 1544, to when Charles I was imprisoned there in 1648, to its involvement in wwii. What also is very well known and enjoyable about Hurst Castle is its ferries, there are regular journeys from Keyhaven to the Castle daily.
