The Palace of Holyroodhouse is the official residence of Her Majesty the Queen, in Scotland. It is best known as the home of Mary, Queen of Scots and her historic reign. The spectacular baroque palace reflects the changing tastes and times of the successive monarchs, including for a brief time, Bonny Prince Charles. There are collections of fine furnishings, tapestries and paintings on show.
