Welcome to Seaprobe Atlantis Wildlife Cruises, Kyle of Lochalsh
The award winning Seaprobe Atlantis (established 1998) is the Best Semi-Submersible Glass Bottom Boat in Scotland. Its unique and innovative design provides a safe and exceptionally stable platform from which to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Skye & Lochalsh, with superb close-up views of the local seals and other wildlife above the waves, while below the waves, its huge underwater viewing gallery, easily-accessed, offers full head height, comfortable seating, and all-round underwater vision.
Drift through beautiful kelp forests, home to fish, starfish, crabs, urchins, anemones and more – and marvel at the rich diversity of wildlife in this Marine Special Area of Conservation.
Owner and skipper, Nigel Smith, grew up on the small Island of Pabay, just off Skye’s Coast, where the seals, otters and seabirds were the only neighbours, and has been observing, recording and protecting local wildlife since establishing Seaprobe Atlantis in 1998. He was involved in the development of new marine wildlife watching Codes of Conduct and sits on the Government’s Scottish Seals Forum. We would love to welcome you on board to share with you the unrivalled knowledge and experience built up over the past 12 years.
Regular trips run daily from Easter - October 31st. Atlantis is suitable for all ages and agilities, and due to its sheltered design and location, the weather usually has no effect on cruises. Atlantis is licensed to carry up to 55 passengers, and offers on-board refreshments and toilets.
Skipper’s Guarantee: “I will use all my knowledge and experience to ensure you see as much wildlife as possible during your trip. I also guarantee, not only that Seaprobe Atlantis will always offer the best Glass Bottom Boat Trip in the area, but we will never be beaten on price.”
