Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard is one of the main tourist attractions in the '1066 Country' region in and around Hastings, East Sussex attracting some 5,000 visitors annually to its Vineyard & Woodland Nature Trail + Wine Tasting and shop. Situated on B2244 (just off the A21)1.5 miles north of Sedlescombe village, and 7 miles north of Hastings. Guided group tours are available by arrangement.
An independent family business pioneered in 1979 by winemaker Roy Cook. Now producing 'Estate Bottled' English wine on 22 acres, making Sedlescombe England's oldest, largest and leading organic vineyard. The Soil Association certified wine range includes whites, red and traditional method sparkling wines. Fruit juices, fruit wines and cider are also produced. Products are all suitable for vegetarians and registered with the Vegan Society.
