Trestraou beach is probably one of the best on the pink granite coast. It is probably the largest beach and has the softest sand. It is very safe for swimming and great for kids. In the summer months, there is a beach club where children can be left supervised to play while you relax. This is for 3 and a half years old and older, although younger children can often go for a short time if accompanied by a parent. The beach club can be booked by the hour, half day or day. The trampolines can also be booked in 15 minute slots. The watersports enthousiast is also well catered for. At one end of the beach there is a very good watersports centre offering sailing, wind-surfing, kayaking - all with instruction if required. At the other end is a surfing centre where boards can be hired and lessons are available. The beach is well known for its good surfing waves and when the surf is up one end of the beach is taken up with surfers and body-boarders.
