Being a 2 miles long sandy beach, Westward Ho! Beach in North Devon is ideal for families. It has good facilities, including shops, cafes, toilets, showers, deckchair hire, first aid, and lifeguards (May to Sept).
There is access for people with disabilities and a pay car park which also has disabled parking spaces.
The beach is next to the South West Coast Path and near Appeldore , Clovelly and Bideford.
A dog exercise area is also provided with restrictions on the main beach
