The Wallachia Region is located in the Southern part of Romania. The region offers a mix of historical and natural attractions. Bucharest is the main city of the region and the capital of Romania. This city offers a range of museums, theatres, art galleries, opera houses and concert halls.

Just North of Bucharest is the beautiful Prahova Valley, where you will find many of Romania’s popular ski resorts. Also in this region you will find some of Romania’s most tranquil monasteries. including Horezu, designated UNESCO World Heritage site.
