The present owners converted the former granary to make this character filled cottage with old world charm but with all modern comfort levels (very warm).
The Steadings is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break in the country, with superb views to the Cheviots, whilst only just over an hour away is Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle. There are so many things to do in the Borders for all tastes and ages, rain or shine and we have details of most in the cottage.
For the more active we have a selection of mountain bikes for visitors use on the many quiet country lanes and forest tracks.
We have 2 acres of gardens and fields for children to play in safety.
Local activities inc. archery, horse riding, leisure centre and swimming pool, golf, fishing.
Private parking, inc. covered parking for one car, barbeque and garden furniture.
