Our Location
The Denes is situated at the edge of the village at the entrance to the Valley of Rocks, but just a short walk to the centre where you will find interesting shops, restaurants and the cinema. Lynton and its twin village Lynmouth are enveloped within the Exmoor National Park and occupy an area of outstanding natural and coastal scenery. Our Lynton accommodation is a prime choice for walkers the South West Coast Path, Two-Moors Way, and The Tarka Trail that all pass by. The Coast Path between Lynton and Porlock was a favourite route of Samuel Coleridge, the poet, and it is said thatwhilst gazing down on Lynmouth Harbour inspired him to write "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner".
