Helvellyn Cottage in Glenridding, Ullswater is an end of terrace old miners cottage situated above the village on the road leading to the old Greenside mine (now the Helvellyn YHA). It offers self-catering holiday cottage accommodation for four people in Glenridding, in a traditional cottage but with all the mod cons like central heating, wood burning stove, washing machine, freeview Sky TV and a power shower! The cottage sleeps four people in a double and twin room. Well behaved pets welcome.

The cottage is located above Glenridding, with views from the garden over Ullswater, and stunning views to the front of the foothills of Helvellyn. So whether you’re planning an expedition up Helvellyn and its sister peaks, looking to enjoy the pleasures of Ullswater or simply looking for a base to explore the lake district, Helvellyn Cottage provides you with the perfect place. 

One parking space is provided for the cottage, although there is usually room for an additional car if required.

Next door Glenridding holiday cottage is also available, which sleeps 4, providing flexible accommodation for up to 8 people in both cottages.
