Only 6 miles from the M6 Kirkby Lonsdale is easily reached by car or train, yet within 5 five minutes walk you find yourself in the beautiful fells of the south east lake district on the bank of the river Lune. The town has a wealth of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs with menus to suit all tastes, whilst the region offers activities for everyone from walking to fishing and site seeing to just relaxing.
And if the location isn't enough you will find No. 3 Horse Market is an ideal base for anything from a packed activity holiday to a cosy week away, beautifully decorated with 3 large bedrooms, the first has a king size bed and en-suite shower-room, the second has a king size bed and the third has twin single beds that can be converted to a super-king bed if required. There is also a contemporary kitchen, utility room, sun-room, sumptuous living room, family bathroom and a separate WC with free Wifi throughout. Each bedroom has a flat screen television, dvd player, hair dryer, and all the beds have luxurious egyptian cotton sheets, while downstairs offers plenty of space to cook, socialise and unwind. The house is also perfect for families with children, with a high chair, cot and fold-up children's bed available.
Every booking also includes a welcome pack with all the basics you need to ensure your prefect stay gets off to a great start. Both bathrooms will have luxurious towels and soaps, while the kitchen will be stocked with tea, coffee, milk, sugar and a complimentary bottle of wine for your arrival. Then on the first morning of your stay a loaf of fresh local bread and milk will be delivered to the door!
