Self Catering Lodge on Kent's Historic White Cliffs - newly refurbished for 2012
Perfect out of season for tranquil short breaks or holidays. Fantastic for keen walkers and cyclists. In season, this is a perfect family get-away with something for everyone to enjoy. Situated in a wooded, cliff-top 5 star holiday park with an indoor heated swimming pool, separate children's pool, tennis court, games room, volley ball, table tennis, crazy golf and playground.
The park is situated in the quiet, picturesque village of Kingsdown, between the historic towns of Deal and Dover in Kent, on the south-east coast of England. It is perfect for visitors from overseas travelling to Dover by ferry or to Ashford by train. It is also only just over 1 hour away from London and the M25, so easily accessible. The lodge provides high quality self catering for 6 people plus sofabed (sleeps 2) (maximum 4 adults & 4 children). If you are travelling in a larger group and need more than one lodge, we have a network of owners who let their lodges next to or near our lodge.
Places of interest nearby includeCanterbury, medieval Sandwich, Dover castle, Walmer castle (former residence of the Queen Mother) and the historic town of Deal. Kingsdown beach is a five minute walk from the park, where rock pools are exposed at low tide. There are excellent cycle routes along the coastline, stunning cliff top walks, water sports, golf and riding nearby.
Guests can also enjoy use of the onsite fully licensed bar & restaurant which offers free wi-fi access and entertainment. A launderette is also available on-site.
There is a private car park, but no vehicles are permitted on the site itself. Trolleys available for luggage.
Pets are prohibited on site and our lodge is non-smoking.
