Welcome to 8 The Moorings, our self catering holiday cottage in St Dogmaels, near Cardigan on the Pembrokeshire costal path in Wales. This excellent self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 10 people, and is close to many stunning beaches.
Pembrokshire Self Catering Accommodation
8 The Moorings provides self-catering accommodation for 8 to 10 people. The cottage is located just 50m from a slipway and landing pontoon with ample temporary small boat storage off street or by arrangement in Dinghy Park.
The property has large open plan ground floor with kitchen, living and dining areas, which has facilities including a LCD TV, dishwasher, washing machine, under floor heating and multi fuel wood burner. In the corner is a 3.5m corner window which provides superb estuary views and opens up to a large decking area which has full estuary views and a barbecue area.
The property has 3/4 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is ensuite and has an emperor bed and excellent estuary views, bedroom 2 is also ensuite and has a king-size bed, bedroom 3 has 2 bunk beds and bedroom 4 has a comfortable sofa bed if required and is opposite the family bathroom. The ground floor has a family bathroom with shower, large storm porch for wet gear, car parking area .

Our cottage is in delightful location at the start of the Pembrokeshire costal path near Cardigan in Wales. The local area includes Poppit sands blue flag beach, a historic Abbey and grounds, Teifi River trails and is close to many other stunning beaches. There is an excellent local pub 2 minutes walk from the house and Bowens Fish and Chips (best in the UK!) is just a 2 minute drive.
There are also many activities to enjoy including Beautiful cliff walks, bird watching, surfing, sailing, canoeing, sea fishing – boat, estuary and beach casting, river fishing, fly fishing , ‘queen of sea trout rivers’ bass fishing, boat trips, golf, coasteering, art galleries and so much more!
