Peaceful, well-equipped self-catering cottage, decorated to exceptionally high standard. Very comfortable accommodation with many personal touches - previously our own holiday cottage and weekend retreat before moving to the island permanently. Owners live nearby and are always on hand to help you enjoy your holiday.

One king-size double and one twin bedroom (all beds with electric blankets); sitting room leading to dining room; bathroom with bath with shower over, basin, bidet and WC; additional ground-floor basin and WC; fitted kitchen with electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer. Satellite TV, DVD, radio/CD player, library of books, games and DVDs. Electric central heating. Bed linen, bath, hand and tea-towels included in rent. Cot, high chair and stairgate on request - guests should provide their own cot bedding. Roadside parking next to the cottage. Delightful, sunny lawned garden with bench, table and chairs.
Children very welcome. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome. Welcome tray with home baking, complimentary bottle of wine and free-range Balvicar eggs. The cottage is well-equipped with many leaflets and guides to the local area, along with the owners' phot albums of the area and their personal suggestions for local walks, places to visit, things to do and pubs and restaurants. Excellent, highly-recommended local shop within 10 minutes walk.
