Welcome to our Family Friendly Hotel in Fife
The Aberdour Hotel was once a Staging-Post Inn for Coaches and retains much of it's character. The old stables have been converted into spacious Family Rooms leading directly off the courtyard to the rear of the hotel. Two of these are ground floor and suitable for use by disabled guests.
All sixteen bedrooms are en-suite and have recently been refurbished to a high standard. Our restaurant is popular with guests and locals alike and has 'Daily Specials' to tickle the palette in addition to the full menu. Wines are available by the glass as well as by the bottle and we are once again included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.
Our Location
Historic Aberdour nestles between the Fife hills and the north coast of the Firth of Forth. Once a Victorian playground for the wealthy Aberdour now combines the characteristics of a traditional fishing village, a retirement haven for Edinburgh professionals and a peaceful alternative for those working in Edinburgh but wishing to live in a more relaxing environment.
The location of the hotel provides guests with the opportunity of using it as a base to visit the many tourist attractions in Fife , to play some of the many excellent golf courses within less than an hour's drive, or to visit Edinburgh , home of the world famous International Festival. Alternatively, given the hotel's proximity to Edinburgh Airport the Superfast Ferry Terminal at Rosyth and the M90 to Inverness and the North, guests may wish to use the hotel as an ideal first and last port of call on a Scottish tour.
