Welcome to Our Holiday Cottage in Rural Scotland, near Loch Lomond
Welcome to Allen Cottage. The holiday cottage offers spacious accommodation furnished to the highest standard and is on three levels. It sleeps 5. Short Breaks Available off peak.
There are two double bedrooms, one on the ground floor which is beautifully furnished with antique furniture and a double bed and overlooks the garden The second bedroom is a pretty attic room with a super king bed ( can be split to make two single beds) and lovely country views. Both bedrooms have pretty soft furnishings and feather and down duvets and pillows (but can have polyester ones if allergy prone).
The Sitting/dining room is on the middle floor which is also the entrance level. It is a lovely bright large room which is comfortably furnished to include two large sofas ( one opens up into a double bed) and has patio doors which lead to the attractive enclosed garden and sitting area. It has a woodburning stove for colder days and a TV with Freeview. There is also a DVD player and a CD/ Radio /Cassette player and plenty of books, games, maps and historical information ( we are in the land of Rob Roy MacGregor! )
The dining area of this room has a large dining table and six chairs but can easily sit eight if required.
The kitchen is situated through glass doors from the sitting/dining room and is fully equipped to include everything you will need. A full electric cooker with a hob, grill and two ovens, a fridge/freezer,a washer/drier, a microwave, toaster, kettle etc. along with quality glasses, crockery and cutlery.
The bathroom is on the middle floor and is comfortable and large and only a few steps from each bedroom. It is
fully tiled and includes a shower bath, a shaving point and a heated towel rail.
The garden is attractively laid out with gravel and lawn areas, flower beds ,shrubs and lots of flower pots.
