Ardbrecknish has a fortunate location being off the beaten track, yet ideal as a touring centre. Apart from the attractions of Lochaweside and Argyll on the doorstep, an hour or less takes you to Loch Lomond, Argyll Forest Park, Crinan Canal, Mull of Kintyre, skiing and climbing at Glen Coe. Oban, a busy, harbour town is the ferry base for cruising to the Magical Western Isles. Glasgow Airport is just over an hour's drive and Edinburgh or Inverness are within the scope of a day excursion.
