Baan Samujana is a fabulous contemporary tropical villa of minimalist design, set within the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Samujana estate. Located on a hillside in Choeng Mon, Baan Samujana overlooks spectacular sea views along the northern east coast of Koh Samui, including the nearby island of Koh Matlang. The premise of indoor-outdoor living is maximized, with all rooms opening onto decks that overlook the fantastic sea views and surrounding nature.   

At the centre of the property, the huge, slate-tiled swimming pool is surrounded by a wooden decks and sandwash terrace, with a long infinity edge that blends into the sea view. A sunken bench at one end of the pool offers an idyllic vantage point for soaking up the views. The pool deck is furnished with sun-loungers and cushions, and includes a sunken BBQ kitchen.

The main living area off the pool is an open-sided pavilion, for casual lounging and al-fresco dining. The living room is separated from the pool by a sand-wash walkway, and is sunken below the water level. Furnished with sumptuous deep cushions on built-in sofas, this shaded area is cooled by ceiling fans and sea breezes. Electric blinds offer shelter from the elements when required. The dining area seats 10 in the upper level of the open-plan living pavilion. A fully-equipped kitchen is separated from the dining area by a large breakfast bar with stools. A TV den behind the living area is fitted with a large plasma satellite TV/DVD home theatre system, and furnished with sumptuous built-in sofas. A stairway leads up from the living area to the rooftop deck and reflection pool overlooking the pool, roof gardens, and sea views. Broadband WiFi satellite internet service is provided free of charge.

Behind the pool, two spacious master bedrooms feature immense en-suite bathrooms, clad in black tile, with a beautiful free-standing tub, and walk-in rain-shower. Descending to the lower level, the third master bedroom features a free standing tub, and en-suite rain shower room. Beyond the third bedroom, two mirrored twin bedrooms are separated by an oversized day-bed, and feature en-suite shower rooms. All of the bedrooms have beautiful sea views, and are equipped with built-in wardrobes with safes, private decks, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and double sets of blinds. A stone stairway leads down to a secluded lower lawn garden area, bordered by shrubs and trees.

The villa is entered through double wooden doors, with a wide stairway leading up to the various levels of the property. Staff quarters are located behind the kitchen, and include a large fully-equipped kitchen for unobtrusive catering. A small bedroom with a set of set of bunk beds and en-suite bathroom is available for the use of guests' private staff or nannies if required. The non-resident maids are available to serve you from 08:00-22:00, although can adjust their schedule if required. In-villa catering is available on request at a charge of 1000 THB per meal, exclusive of provisions.
