Barn Croft nestles at the foot of Skiddaw in the quiet hamlet of Applethwaite, near Keswick, in the English Lake District. The property, once an 18th century barn, has been tastefully converted into a lovely two-storey cottage whilst still retaining many of its original features.
The property comprisesof :
- Two lounges: one with double settee bed
- Two bedrooms: one double and one twin
- Fully fitted modern kitchen and equipment
- Bathroom: including shower
- Full central heating and open coal fire
- Private parking
It is central to the whole of the Lake District with easy access to such places as Penrith, Ambleside, Windermere and the Solway Coast. Visitors may bring their own boat if they wish to launch it from Portinscale.
