Welcome to Beckett’s Bed & Breakfast, 4 Star guest accommodation in a beautiful 300 year old listed barn in the heart of the Kentish countryside. We have held a Silver Award since 2004 for quality accommodation and are rated 'excellent' by traveller reviews on Tripadvisor. Dine like Henry VIII in our vaulted dining room overlooking the garden. Vegetarian and vegan diets are catered for and both continental and full English breakfasts are available.
Becketts is excellent for business use. There is a free WiFi available and if all three rooms are booked, the dining room is suitable for your breakfast meeting.
We are also ideally situated for touring, with Hever Castle, Penshurst Place and Chartwell all within 4 miles. There are many more stunning National Trust properties and gardens, all having special events throughout the summer months, all within easy reach. Downe House, the home of Charles Darwin is only 30 minutes away. There are also excellent walking routes with a footpath passing the door. Access to London from Edenbridge is 40 minutes by train, so you can go sightseeing for the day or to the theatre in the evening. Good local knowledge.
We have three lovely guest bedrooms all with en suite facilities. A beautiful antique double four-poster, a downstairs garden twin with its own direct access to the garden with private seating and an upstairs vaulted twin with magnificent vaulted ceiling. Each room has a flat screen tv/dvd, tea/coffee facilities and complimentary toiletries. An additional double room with own large ensuite bathroom in the adjacent Granary is also now available. Plenty of car parking and bicycles can be securely stored overnight.
Many excellent pubs and restaurants nearby with choice of fine dining to rustic delicious home cooked meals by a open wood fire.
