Welcome to our Pet Friendly Holiday Cottage in Norfolk
Welcome to Belmont House, our 4 star luxury holiday cottage in Heacham, Norfolk. This lovely Victorian holiday cottage is just minutes from the sea, and is furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout. It provides spacious self catering holiday accommodation for up to 9 people, and is very family and pet friendly. The cottage is near many beaches on the North Norfolk Coast and also has access to many great walks.
The Cottage
Our self-catering accommodation comprises:
Downstairs: There is an entrance hall, leading to a large sitting room with a log burning stove, Flat Screen TV with Freeview, DVD, CD and Ipod Connection, Digital radio, doors leading to the rear private patio garden, dog and child friendly being enclosed for pets and Children. There is a well-equipped kitchen dining room Oven, Dishwasher, Freezer, Washing Machine, Dryer and Microwave with a large dining table seats up to 10. The kitchen has another door to rear garden. There is also a downstairs Wet room with shower, W.C. and basin, and a further cloakroom with W.C. and basin. There is also a double bedroom downstairs.
Upstairs: There are four bedrooms, 2 doubles (one kingsize), one twin and one single, as well as an additional family bathroom. There is also a loft room.
Outside: There is a private fully enclosed rear patio garden, with covered area, garden furniture & Barbecue.
Our Norfolk Location
The cottage is ideally located in the beautiful village of Heacham in Norfolk and so is in walking distance of the wonderful selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways in the village. Hunstanton, on the North Norfolk Coast is 2 miles away, and has all the seaside attributes for a lovely holiday: miles of sandy beaches with rock pools, majestic cliffs, amusements and water sports, as well as tennis, croquet, bowls, golf, shops, restaurants and inns, leisure and Sea Life centres.
Boat trips are available from Wells next the Sea, to see the Seals at Blakeney point, and the bird reserves of Snettisham and Titchwell are both within easy reach.
North Norfolk has a range of splendid stately homes to visit, with the Queen's country home at Sandringham the closest at 6 miles. Holkham Hall also makes for an enjoyable day out. There is plenty of birdlife found within the grounds, and a footpath leads from the estate to Holkham Bay, where one of the finest sandy beaches, fringed by pine-studded sand dunes can be found.
Kings Lynn offers a wealth of shops, restaurants and theatres as well as a large leisure centre. Also close by is the city of Norwich is not only beautiful but offers excellent shopping and restaurants.
