Situated in the pretty village of Elterwater in the Langdale Valley, Bens was once upon a time a wheelwrights’ workshop, now lovingly converted into ground floor accommodation.
Named after the owner’s youngest son, Ben’s provides comfortable and spacious accommodation. With fantastic views towards Elterwater Common and High Close.
Property Details
Entering the cottage, the hallway leads through the house with bedrooms off from either side. The main double bedroom has a king-size Sleigh bed, built in wardrobes. Across the hall the twin room has two single beds, built in wardrobes and an en-suite shower room (Villeroy & Boch fittings).
Continuing down the hall, to the left is the main house bathroom and to the right the kitchen/dining room with ‘Aga Style’ Esse electric range cooker.
The lounge at the end has floor to ceiling picture window which takes full advantage of the views to High Close and overlooks the village common and fells beyond; A glass door gives you access, down a few steps to the common. Lots of people sit out here and admire the views with a well earned glass of wine!
