Welcome to our Self catering cottage in Stirlingshire
Within our cottage there is a downstairs double bedroom with ensuite attached consisting of a double shower, w.c and sink. There is a plasma screen mounted TV in the bedroom. One upstairs twin room with ensuite bathroom consisting of bath , wc and sink. There is a seperate downstairs wc, toilet and sink with a large storage cupboard attached, containg ironing board, iron, mop and bucket, hoover and airer. There is a kitchen/dining area fully equipped with fridge and small freezer compartment, oven , hob and grill, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher.The living area consists of two 3 seater couches and a leather chair. There is a plasma screen TV with DVD and CD player. It also has a phone and broadband connection. There is a log burning stove.
Our Self Catering Cottages Location
Our cottage is sitiuated in the heart of Alva nested below the Ochil Hills and only 5 miles on the outskirts of the City of Stirling. Nearest railway is 2 miles away. From Stirling, it is very easy to travel to many exciting places, like Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Highlands, and basically anywhere is Scotland, due to the excellent travel links.

There are many attractions in the area around our Self Catering cottage in Alva. For example, you can go walking, cycling, climbing, mountain biking, swimming, fishing and see many different museums, castles and other historic sights. Some of these are the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle, Abbey Craig and various others. for a day trip you could go to Blair Drummond Safari Park, do a Cycle Tour towards Callendar, and also visit the Rob Roy and Trossachs Visitor Centre.
