Brackenrigg originally a victorian residence with 5 acres of grounds, are located in the very heart of the Lake District. The holiday cottages are just 2.5 miles south of the delightful market town of Keswick and a 10 min drive from historic Grasmere. The 5000 year old Castlerigg Stone Circle is just 1.5 miles away and there is ample walking from the door from gentle strolls to rugged hikes.
Bleaberry & Brocklebeck are 4 star rated ground floor studio cottages in our beautifully converted 18 century barn. With fantastic views from the windows over the Helvellyn range and north to Blencathra, the cottages are in 5 acres of gardens, meadow, and woodland; with abundant wildlife including our red squirrels that daily visit the feeders positioned close to your cottage.
Each luxury holiday cottage has an open plan layout with new fully equipped kitchen area (ceramic hobs, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer section etc), lounge area with sofa, tub-chair, Sky TV/dvd, bedroom area and new luxury en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. Brocklebeck is twin bedded (can be made up as double), and Bleaberry has a double. Central heating in both cottages.
Both have outdoor seating areas, BBQ and laundry room.

The cottages take two people each, but can be combined with our two other cottages at Brackenrigg; The The Sett (sleeps 4-6), and High Rigg (sleeps 8) to make an ideal base for families, groups of walkers, cyclists, birthday re-unions etc.
