A large Victorian house with superb panoramic views over Lake Windermere and the surrounding mountains, set in it's own private grounds, yet just a short stroll from Ambleside village, and many walking routes, some literally from the doorstep! 

Ambleside itself has a wide choice of cafes, bars, shops, restaurants and traditional pubs (many serving local real ales) a cinema (where "Withnail & I" premiered) and even it's own museum!

There are also many activities available locally such as horseriding, fishing, golfing, off road days, mountainboarding, or Lake cruises and a genuine steam railway trip, to name just a few!

We now offer "Tailor-made" breaks, which are individually designed to encompass whatever activities a group would like, allowing you to fit the most into, and get the most out of, your holiday. Once we have completed your itinerary, including transport, etc. it will be sent for your approval and altered accordingly, if required.
A 14 day minimum period of notice is required for this service, and a full list of activity options and prices is available upon request.

Alternatively, we offer services for groups who just want a few pre-booked days out, or wish to be assured of available mountain guide services, attraction tickets, etc. A minimum of 7 days notice is required for this service, and prices are available upon request.

We also offer various catering options, including everything from traditional sunday lunches, to a mediaeval BBQ and hogroast!  Picnics and buffets are also a speciality, or for the DIY option, an assortment of holiday hampers, containing lovely local produce are available. We can also cater for parties, be it buffet or full dinner party menu!
