Our spacious self-catering farmhouse cottege is a great base for exploring the beautiful and historic Northumberland coastline and countryside, and sleeps five people and has all the modern amenities you could wish for. Burton Hall apartments are ideally located for exploring the historical and peaceful region of Northumberland, as well as being an ideal mid-point between Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders and Hadrian’s Wall. The surrounding scenery is excellent and there are many different types of wildlife in the area.
Our Self Catering Holiday Accommodation and Features
Our self-catering holiday cottage in Northumberland sleeps up to five people in two bedrooms. The master double bedroom has a large double bed, plenty of storage space, a bedside table and an en suite bathroom with a large bath, walk in shower, toilet and sink. The triple and twin bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower over bath, toilet and sink, and have large beds, ample storage space, and various item of furniture. In the cottage there are two TV’s, a CD player, DVD player, video player, central heating, and an open fire. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern appliances and plenty of storage/worktop space. There is a large living area with ample seating, a television, and excellent views from the window of Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands. The garden is enclosed so is perfect for children and pets.
Our Northumberland Location
Situated right on the coast of Northumberland, our wonderful Holiday Apartment is perfectly placed for access to many activities, including cycling, mountain biking, walking, climbing, fishing and golf, as well as the obvious water sports, for example wind surfing, kite surfing, sailing and swimming. There are also such attractions as Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Gardens, Chesters Roman Fort and Museum and Chesters Walled Garden. All along the coast there are many lovely beach for you to go and relax on, and they are perfect for children to amuse themselves on. There are historic sites in the vicinity, such as The Holy Island (Lindisfarne), Flodden field, which was the scene of a great battle, Alnwick Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle, and Thirlestane Castle.
