Welcome to Camus Boutique Cottages, in Ballyliffin, Co Donegal. Our luxury holiday cottages enjoy a wonderful location near Pollan Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, and the fairways of Ballyliffin Golf Club. Camus offers two fully furnished boutique luxury cottages to rent (linen and towels supplied).
The Cottages
Both houses offer luxurious self catering accommodation to sleep 6 adults and feature superb fully-fitted kitchens, double glazed windows, PVC window frames, 2 bedrooms, one ensuite, with 2 single beds each, master bedroom with double bed and ensuite, main bathroom, solid hardwood and tile flooring, four single beds and a double master bed, TVs and videos, Hi-Fi systems, modern gas fireplaces, intruder alarms, stoned driveways, oil fired central heating and exterior sheds for storage.
Upon entering the Camus cottage one is greeted by the large hallway and reception area / dining room, which is open to the kitchen and also leads to the living room. The dining table comfortably seats six and includes full place settings. The Living room connects to the hallway and the conservatory. Central to the room is the modern glass front gas fire, surrounded by two large leather sofas and a TV and video. There is also a modern sound system. Leading from the living room, through expandable heavy wooden shutter doors is the conservatory, where one can enjoy the stunning views of the rolling hills surrounding Ballyliffin. Ideal for relaxing and reading in, there are lounge chairs, reading lamps, and fitted blinds. The Kitchen is fully equipped, with an oven, slow cooker, coffee maker, Smeg fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and microwave. Everything is catered for, as there is a full cutlery set and extensive cooking utensils.
The ground floor bedroom has two single beds and an ensuite shower room, with views over the back garden. The master bedroom has a large double bed, a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom, with shower, toilet, and wash basin . The first floor bedroom has two single beds, and is situated just off the landing near the main bathroom. The first floor bathroom is very spacious, with a bath, shower, toilet and wash basin. A cot and highchair are available.
The Location
Ballyliffin is a picture postcard seaside village on the north coast of Co. Donegal, where the breakers of the Atlantic Ocean sweep onto the beautiful stretch of Pollan Bay's white sandy beaches.
For the golfing enthusiasts the world-famous Ballyliffin Golf Club is a 5 minute drive away from our cottages. Boasting a newly constructed club house, the championship links Glashedy Course and the Old Links, which Nick Faldo described as 'the most natural golf course' he had ever played, this is perhaps the best golf complex in Ireland.
Only a short drive away are Dough Island Visitor's Centre and Famine Village, McRory's Bar and Music Venue, Grianán Ailigh Visitors Centre, The Guns of Dunree, Leisure Land in Redcastle, Inishowen Maritime Museum, The Old Courthouse in Lifford, and the scenic drive up Scalp Mountain to 1600ft.
Ballyliffin is ideal for those who want to get away from it all, yet it is only 40 minutes drive from Derry.
