Our B&B is just 2 ½ miles north of the city centre lies Catton Old Hall offering a peaceful oasis of 17th century quirky, creaky charm hidden in modern suburban Norwich.
This former mayoral residence dating from 1632 is full of history and character with oak beams, mullion windows and inglenook. The Old Hall is licensed and has a large garden with covered outdoor sitting area and offers spacious comfortable bedrooms, some with spa/Jacuzzi baths with inviting Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy bath towels and robes. Two of the double rooms may be made up as twins on request.
Perfect for business, romantic getaways, shopping business trips or city breaks and is ideally placed as a base for exploring the Norfolk countryside and the Broads. Owners, mother and daughter team Jean and Dianne, offer good locally-sourced quality food in a friendly, relaxed and informal setting. A warm welcome awaits you to our 'home from home.' There is free on-site parking with nearby city bus route for easy access by public transport into heart of the city.
