Stiffkey is a charming small village following the course of the river Stiffkey, situated between Blakeney & Wells on the north Norfolk Coast.
Church Cottage bed and breakfast is in a quiet location next to the 14th century church, offering a choice of large double or very spacious twin room both with sofa, TV, radio, tea & coffee, hairdryer and the sole use of a private shower room. The first floor accommodation is in a private part of the house and is for your use only with key access at all times. Both the double and twin rooms can be used if your party has 4 people.
The centrally heated house is built of traditional Norfolk red brick and flint in a cottage style and is ideally situated for bird watching and walking.
A short walk from the house takes you to one of the oldest salt marshes along Norfolk's historic coast. Owned by the National Trust it is an area of outstanding natural beauty, beyond which is an expanse of remote stunning seashore where you can see the seals basking on the sand or swimming in the sea close to you.
The internationally important Cley Nature reserve with a huge variety of breeding and migratory birds is only 4 miles away.
With Titchwell RSPB reserve, the Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve at Cley, Blakeney Point an Stiffkey Marshes all nearby, Church Cottage is ideally situated for bird watchers, walkers and anyone who enjoys the countryside.
