Clachaig Chalets and Lodges enjoy and unrivalled setting in the very heart of Glencoe, in the Highlands of Scotland. The views of the Glencoe mountains from the picture windows are literally jaw-dropping. The combination of spectacular setting and luxury self catering accommodation makes these a very popular holiday choice.
Despite being close to the award winning Clachaig Inn - Glencoe, the self catering holiday chalets and lodges enjoy privacy and peace being in their own grounds. However, popping out for a bar meal or a well-earned pint at the end of the day couldn’t be more convenient.
Our 2 and 3 bedroom self catering chalets and lodges and sleep up to 5 people. All are equipped to a high standard, with features such as master bedrooms with en suite facilities and viewing decks. Pets welcome.
Ideally suited for families, there are a variety of short and low level walks, starting right from the door, in addition to the obvious attraction of Glencoe's lofty peaks. Within a minute or 2 you can be on the circular woodland walk down by the river Coe and then into the woodland and to Signal Rock. Elsewhere, Glencoe Lochan walks and Ballachulish Slate Quarry also provide popular walking locations, as does the National Trust for Scotland Glencoe Visitor Centre, located nearby.
The hillside adjacent to the chalets provided the location for many of the Harry Potter films, including The Prisoner of Azkaban, when a full set featuring Hagrid's Hut and the Sun Dial were constructed.
