Welcome to Cove Stables Holiday Cottages, our wonderful luxury holiday cottages by the sea in the Borders, Scotland.  The 3 cottages provide excellent self catering holiday accommodation two for 4 and one for 6 people. They are located near the smuggler's harbour, cave, sandy beach and rolling hills – with great sea views. Scuba diving, golf, archery centre and a 4 wheel drive centre all close by, making our cottages the ideal holiday accommodation for a family or friends holiday in Scotland.

Our Luxury Cottage Facilities

These beautifully designed holiday cottages have been newly refurbished and are situated overlooking the North Sea and are part of a small range of farm buildings surrounded by open countryside.  The holiday accommodation comprises comprising 1 cottage with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and 2 cottage with 2 bedrooms (sleeping 4) each.

The living areas of the two sea facing cottages are upstairs to take full advantage of the fantastic sea views.  There is ample parking for all three cottages.

All holiday cottages are fully equipped to include dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, ironing facilities, microwave, T.V, DVD player, CD player and hair dryer. Electricity is included in the price.  Towels can be provided at a charge. A Cot and highchair are available on request.

In summary our luxurious self catering holiday accommodation comprises:

Bridle Cottage, which sleeps 4 and has beautiful Sea Views. It has 1 double room with en-suite including shower and a twin room and family bathroom on the ground floor, and the Living room, and kitchen with spectacular views on the upper floor.

Tack Room Cottage, which sleeps 6, also has beautiful sea views. On the ground floor it has 1 double room, 2 twin rooms, a family bathroom, and a separate shower room / WC. On the top floor it is has a Living room and kitchen, again with spectacular views.

The Snug, which sleeps 4. This cottage has restricted sea views and has a lounge with feature arch window, kitchen, shower room on the ground floor, and 1 double room, 1 twin room both with pitched roofs upstairs.

Our Scottish Borders Location

Cove Stables Holiday Cottages are located by Cove, near Cockburnspath, in the Scottish Borders, in South Eastern Scotland.  The cottages are located at the end of the Southern Upland Way long distance walk in southern Scotland with stunning views over the fields to the sea. The cottages are also on the John Muir Way walking route. Cove Harbour and Pease Bay are within easy walking distance.

The holiday cottages make an ideal base for walkers, beach lovers, water sports enthusiast and golfers and cyclists. You can stroll down the hill through the cave to the sandy beach, smugglers harbour and rolling sea.

Edinburgh is 45 mins drive, Berwick-Upon-Tweed 20 mins, Dunbar railway station 15 mins. Explore beautiful East Lothian with its notable Victorian seaside holiday resort town of North Berwick (25 mins) and fishing town of Dunbar (15 mins) or take in the historic Border's country.

The historic Scottish Borders are steeped in history, bloody battles, Castle strongholds, magnificent country houses such as Floors castle. Rolling hills and friendly people epitomise the Scottish Borders area.  There is also wildlife all around with nature reserves, bird centres and woodland.
